Any organization can apply, whether you’re incorporated or a nonprofit.
The process is simple:
1. Submit an application.
2. Send a class video with at least 8 students aged 13 or older.
3. Choose your preferred evaluation method based on what works best for your organization’s budget.
Yes! There are two levels:
• New Member
• Member Company
• New Member: $800 per year
• Member Company: $1000 per year
Class participants must be at least 10 years of age, and performers must be at least 13 years of age.

Formal mentorship programs are available to support new organizations and any director seeking guidance in any aspect of their operations. We highly value group brainstorming as a powerful tool for collective problem-solving and fostering growth for all members.
• Empowering Leaders Through Mentorship and Collaboration: TBA fosters an environment where member schools and companies prioritize shared learning and the exchange of ideas over competition. Structured mentorship programs are readily available to empower new companies and provide tailored support to any director seeking to enhance their organizational skills. We highly value collaborative brainstorming sessions as a means to collectively address challenges and drive sustainable growth for the entire community.
• A Tailored Evaluation Process Focused on Growth: TBA employs a unique evaluation process designed to support and inspire its member companies. Each company is paired with a dedicated Festival Artistic Director (FAD) who acts as a collaborator, educator, and mentor over several months. This personalized support includes an on-site visit where the FAD teaches a master class, rehearses the dancers, and provides mentorship to the entire company, extending to the board of directors and administration upon request.
• Invest in Tomorrow’s Talent: Professional Mentorship for Young Choreographers. Recognizing the time constraints faced by directors, The Ballet Alliance offers comprehensive mentorship for student choreographers. These young artists benefit directly from the expertise of field professionals who provide education and inspiration, leading to enhanced creativity and a deeper understanding of their craft.
